What a journey! I’ve known Holly since her daughter Elliot was born (who is now 7, how!?!) and she’s a dear friend of mine now! I have loved documenting so many of her family’s milestones, including her intimate Rapid Creek Cidery wedding (see the old blog here) and recently had the pleasure of documenting her maternity session as she, Jeff, and Elliot await the arrival of their baby boy!

My favorite part of working with Holly is the level of trust we’ve built over years of working together – and this was no exception. Expecting mamas can sometimes be nervous of what a maternity session will be like with their changing bodies (Often wondering will they like the photos? Will they be flattering?), and trusting your photographer is key in producing images you love. Plus, as a photographer, when a client trusts your vision and allows you to find your flow – magic happens. These are some of my favorite maternity images. We had overcast skies to start and then the sun came out at the perfect time, giving the world (and Holly) even more of a beautiful glow.
