I never cared much about the weather until I became a photographer and now it makes up approx 80% of my anxiety. 🥴 So, you can imagine my stress when a random rainstorm showed up about 15 min into this family’s session. Thankfully, they were patient (we had shelter to wait out the rain), and afterwards we were able to finish the session and rewarded with lush greenery and all of the colors looking extra vibrant against the lake landscape.

Moral of the story? Sometimes things don’t turn out the way you want, or plan, but they are still beautiful. ❤️
