Early Spring Naperville Riverwalk Maternity Photoshoot | Natural, Light-Filled Family Session in Illinois
A couple of weeks ago, on one of those rare, sunshine-filled March days, I met up with the sweetest family for a maternity photoshoot. Meagan, Ralph, and their four-year-old daughter Gracie joined me for a relaxed, golden-hour Naperville Riverwalk maternity photoshoot to celebrate baby girl #2 on the way!
Now, I know what you might be thinking—March in Illinois? Not exactly peak bloom season. But honestly? The bare trees and soft golden light made for the dreamiest backdrop. The Riverwalk is one of my favorite locations for maternity and family sessions because it’s stunning year-round. Even without spring flowers or lush greenery, this Naperville Riverwalk maternity photoshoot felt warm, cozy, and full of beautiful light.
Meagan is absolutely glowing (like, full-on radiant goddess vibes), and this family was just so much fun to photograph. The connection between the three of them was so genuine, and there was such a sense of excitement and love as they prepare to welcome their newest addition. It’s sessions like this that remind me why I love maternity photography—there’s just something so special about capturing this in-between chapter.
